The new video tutorials are up and running on the website and our YouTube Channel.  We updated them to reflect the category name change from grants to ”Gifts”.  They were also updated to reflect the slight update to the website’s overall look.  They weren’t big changes, just minor ones.  However, we wanted to show this in the video tutorials. 

You can access the video tutorials via the website page named Video Tutorials or Ewishingwell’s YouTube Channel.  Many people have found the tutorials very helpful and informative, so give them a try.

We are changing our category titles to help clear up any confusion they might be causing our users. The old categories were wishes and grants. The new categories are Wishing and Gifting. I am working on getting the video tutorials updated to reflect this change. We hope this will clear up any confusion our users have.

I’ve thought of a new idea with the blog.  I’m going to cover some of the features on Ewishingwell, so my users get the most out of the website.

Today – I’m gonna cover the topic, Local Wish Granting.

Lets imagine for a moment, you have a piece of furniture, like a couch.  I wanna see you ship that puppy to someone through the mail – NOT.  The shipping cost would be HUGE.  What are you to do?  You LOVE using Ewishingwell, but you can’t ship something that heavy and big.

Not to worry, you can make a few modifications on your listing and presto – it will be a LOCAL pickup item only.  So the LUCKY people in your area can claim your couch and go pick it up from you directly.  No Cost to you and a little gas and effort for them, what a trade off.  So Yes, you can giveaway Free items that are HUGE on Ewishingwell. 

That is one of the ways I set up the website, so it can be used globally and locally to grant wishes for people.

Here’s how you would do it:

When you are listing the Gift (item) or the Wish for that matter, instead of putting a shipping method – choose LOCAL PICKUP ONLY!  Then when you want to search for an item, put in your location and see what is listed in your area for Local Pickup…
